An experienced Clinical Psychologist is required to provide a specialised clinical psychology service to clients of WestMARC including amputees, wheelchair users and carers, across all sectors of care; providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.Applicants should be HCPC registered as a clinical psychologist with post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HCPC, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology.The shift pattern is; Within 8:30 to 4:30 Mon to Fri (pattern to be agreed)" This post can be considered as a band 7 Preceptorship Development Post" Informal ContactJohn Colvin, Consultant Clinical Scientist/Head of Service on or email NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde encourages applications from all sections of the community.
