NHS GREATER GLASGOW & CLYDECONSULTANT PATHOLOGIST REF: 31278Closing Date: 17th November 2020Interview Date: 30th Novmeber 2020Greater Glasgow and Clyde provides a specialist diagnostic pathology service and are looking for a Consultant Pathologist who has, or is willing to develop, a special interest in dermatopathology. Although there is some flexibility in opportunities, the majority of clinical time for this post will be allocated to dermatopathology.This replacement post, which is based in the Laboratory Medicine Building within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Campus, will have shared responsibility with 48 consultant colleagues for the provision of specialist diagnostic pathology services.We are one of the largest single site Pathology services in the UK, receiving over 110000 requests annually. We are committed to innovation including transition to full digitisation of histopathology services as part of the iCAIRD Centre for Digital Diagnostics. The department is based in a modern laboratory building (2012) and provides local, regional and some national services.
