Distribution Network Manager - GothamAre you someone who is a skilled Leader, who embraces the challenge of operating in a dynamic environment, whilst also looking to deliver strategic changeAt Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions we are hiring for a Distribution Network Manager to work at our Gotham site, helping to create a safe, agile and cost-efficient National transport network that delivers industry-leading performance, whilst providing distributionsustainability in line with strategic objectives.The role requires an experienced leader to navigate the size and scale of the operation owing to the close partnerships with our transport suppliers and the commercial mechanisms they work to.This is a senior leadership role that will require advanced communication and influencing skills, as well as the need to continually draw feedback from a wide range of people and stakeholders across Saint-Gobain and external parties.This role is 3 days in office and 2 days on-site with possibility of overnight stays when required (Company car provided).What you will be doing:

Safety: Deliver zero harm through a positive safety culture across the network
Sustainability: Leading the network to support the Saint-Gobain target of carbon net zero by 2050
Operational Performance: Deliver operational performance within the commercial framework, through a series of KPIs focussing upon Quality and Customer Experience
Financial Accountability: Responsible for setting and managing multiple budgets
Strategic Intent: Drive the Networks strategic intent and ensure it is fit for purpose now and in the next 2 to 3 years
Partnering with the Strategic Logistics Provider to ensure sufficient resource is available to meet current and future distribution requirements
Providing assurance for the safe, sustainable and efficient operation of the SGIS Transport Network to the Head of Distribution, assuming responsibility for the co-ordinated response to emergent safety, environmental or employee welfare issues as they occur
Briefing the UK Supply Chain Director and other members of the Executive as required on Transport Network related matters
Engaging with strategic partners and suppliers to understand forthcoming developments and opportunities

RequirementsWhat were looking for:

Commercial experience with recent experience of building and managing budgets
Strong leadership skills capable of creating a high performing team
Commercial experience in the management of outsourced supplier contracts
Good understanding of SAP
Relevant Safety Qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate)
