Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturing business in Goole as they look to recruit a Finance Business Partner into the team. The company is an employer of choice in the region and have some excellent benefits on offer: - - Competitive starting salary (£48,000 to £58,000 - Dependent on experience) - Up to 15% annual bonus - Hybrid working (up two days WFH) - Generous pension scheme (Up to 12% employer contribution) - 25 days holidays + banks (with the option to buy up to 5 more each year) - Employee discount scheme - Free meals from their onsite canteenThis role will be the primary financial support to the Warehouse Operations teams, providing key financial information, enabling the business to track progress against divisional targets and make better informed decisions. This covers all aspects of financialsupport from period end reporting to providing detailed analysis of variances and trend analysis, as well as developing improved ways of working. It will be a varied role with duties to include: -

  • Responsibility for the Warehouse financials - complete period end journals to ensure the P&L and balance sheet are accurate
  • Act as the key contact/support for the managers by providing accurate, timely, user friendly reporting and ad-hoc analysis
  • Responsibility for weekly flash reports being completed accurately and in a timely manner along with appropriate commentary
  • Develop strong business partner relationships with key operational stakeholders across all operations areas on site
  • Prepare operational budgets & forecasts for the 3 warehouse sites as well the Strategic Projects Team’s budget and MHE & canteen budgets, with detailed explanation of key drivers against prior year/version for review with the Logistics Finance Manage
  • Ad-Hoc project work to support business decisions usually involving engaging with stakeholders across the group.
To be successful, you will have the following skills and experiences: - - CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified - Solid understanding of management accounts and balance sheet controls - Experience of finance business partnering non-financial stakeholders - Articulate with strong influencing skills - Analytical with the ability to interpret and explain data to a diverse group with high variations in financial knowledge - Numerate, tenacious and commercially astute - Good IT Skills (Especially Excel) - Organises and prioritises own workload effectively and manages competing demands - Is results driven and takes pride in delivering to deadlines - Ability to build solid working relationships and effectively communicate at any level - Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative If you are interested in this vacancy, please get in touch today!
