Job Description

Finance Business Partner – Goole - £50,000 - £58,000 & BonusChase & Holland are once again partnering a leading FTSE 250 manufacturing business, who are looking for a hands-on, qualified Finance Business Partner. This person will partner the warehouse operations teams and provide essential financial support with crucialfinancial information which will help tracking progress against divisional targets and making informed decisions. This support encompasses various financial aspects, including period end reporting, detailed analysis of variances and trends, and the developmentof more efficient work methods. Finance Business Partner responsibilities including:
  • Develop strong business partner relationships with key operational stakeholders across all operations areas on your sites
  • Oversee the weekly flash reporting and month end management accounts and MI pack including detailed variance reporting and commentary
  • Act as the key contact/support for the managers by providing reporting and ad-hoc analysis
  • Weekly flash reports along with appropriate commentary
  • Prepare operational budgets & forecasts for the 3 warehouse sites as well the Strategic Projects Team’s budget, with detailed explanation of key drivers against prior year/version for review
  • Ad Hoc project work to support business decisions usually involving engaging with stakeholders across the group
The ideal FBP will be:
  • Qualified CIMA/ ACCA Accountant
  • You will have a hands-on and structured approach - be enthusiastic and be looking to develop and grow within the role
  • You will also need excellent communication skills and have the ability to give non financial managers finance understanding
  • Have a passion for getting involved in the wider business and driving site performance
  • You must be IT literate, specifically on excel and ERP systems
  • Change management or continuous improvement mentality
