I am currently working on behalf of a key client of mine based in the Godstone area (own transport essential due to location). My client is looking for an experienced bookkeeper on a permanent, part time basis. The role will be to work 3 days a week (ideally Mon/Weds/Fri) and will be office based.It is working for a company that work as movers/shippers and storers of goods. They are keen to take on a company bookkeeper who will prepare the accounts for the external accountant. There are large volumes of transactions which you will need to be capable of processingand some can be quite involved.The Successful candidate will need to be proficient in:- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations- Reconciling all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis- Preparing and submitting VAT returns on a quarterly basis- Posting the payroll journals each month- Preparing monthly profit and loss figures for management useIdeally they want someone to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday and you will be required to work in the office (own transport needed due to location). There may be the opportunity to work remotely once you are fully up to speed. The role will pay £30,000- £35,000 (full time equivalent), for the right candidate.Please apply for immediate consideration.
