Job Description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Science Teacher for January until the end of the academic year at one of our partner schools in the Glossop area of the High Peak. Our client is an 11-16 mixed secondary with an Ofsted good rating, the school islooking for someone to help show its pupils the wonders of science whilst also showing the subjects application in day-to-day life.Key information about the role:

  • Pay: £28,0004£3,685
  • Must hold QTS in Science

  • Develop learning materials specific to students needs
  • Always uphold school standards, especially those regarding behaviour
  • Work alongside experienced teaching staff to learn some tricks of the trade
  • Regularly provide rich, detailed feedback to pupils, constructively highlighting their strengths and areas for improvement
  • Liaise with teachers and leadership staff to help identify pupils who would benefit from receiving extended support
