Maths graduate - Teaching Assistant - DerbyshireAre you a recent graduate of Maths looking for work in educationWe are working exclusively with a large Secondary school in North Derbyshire, who are looking for a recent Maths graduate, who may be looking to pursue a career in education or wishing to embark on a PGCE in September 2023 to work in the Maths departmentas a tutor and teaching assistant. The role will start after October half term, it will be full time and will be for the rest of the current academic year.You will be responsible for supporting small groups of pupils within the Maths department, working with key stage 3 & 4 students, you will also have a small timetable (these are called intervention groups) where you will provide intensive support to smallgroups of learners. You will formulate a superb understanding of the curriculum at KS3 & 4 Maths. , which will bode well for their future studies.
