Job Description

We are currentlyseeking an industry experienced claims handler to be based at the Glasgow Office of our client.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organisation who have branches across the UK.They are seeking an industry experienced claims handler to join their team, handling complex claims working in a fast-paced environment providing support and to ensuring timely, compliant and effective administration and processing on core systems.Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • To achieve your Key Performance Indictors including service targets.
  • To ensure that clients are fully informed of the progress of their claims
  • To handle claims within your authority limits referring unusual cases to an experienced colleague.
  • To undertake general claims activities including dealing with clients queries and correspondence and the effective management of your diary
  • To use all core company systems and any specific claims monitoring ensuring they are regularly updated for effective Management Information and Reporting
  • To attend Company and/or Claims meetings and events as required, including prescribed training.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management on an ad-hoc basis.
To be considered for this role you should have.
  • Strong experience of commercial claims handling.
  • Experience of working with insurance system.
  • Have excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Be able to manage and prioritise your own work load within a busy environment.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a small team.
