Venesky-Browns client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit an Operational Support Manager for an initial 2-month contract on a rate of £325/day (inside of IR35). Due to the current circumstances this role will be remote based for the entire contract.Responsibilities:·Measure the performance of our managed service providers and design improvements to processes, and services order to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and cost effectiveness·Deliver effective management and scheduling of the ITIL change control process and the handling of escalations consistent with the agreed SLAs.· Define and oversee clear outage notifications to the wider businessEssential Skills:·Previous Operational Support Manager with Service Manager, Service Management and ITIL Change Management experience ·Proven knowledge and experience of managing change within a NOC /Service Desk environment·Significant experience in Service Management, particularly in managing suppliers and driving forward service improvement, CSIPs.·You will be experienced in line management and have a strong service/support track record. ·Knowledge of ITIL processes ·Experience working within ITIL framework with ITIL certification·Qualified to ITIL V4 essential·A strong communicator with visionIf you would like to hear more about this opportunity, please get in touch.
