Job Description

We are working on behalf of one of our clients in the Gateshead area who are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team. This is a temporary ongoing position with a view to go permanent for the right person.Duties will include but are ot limited to:

  • Working from a pick list to pack and prepare orders and ensure they are sent out to the customer on time and correctly
  • Working to daily targets
  • Off loading deliveries, scanning goods on receipt, moving onto pallets and putting stock away
  • Wrapping and sealing of products
  • Labelling products ready for despatch
  • Ensuring orders are completed on time
  • General housekeeping tasks
We have continental shifts and a two shift rotation available:Continentals - 2 day shifts 6.00am-6.00pm and then 2 night shifts 6.00pm-6.00am and then you will have 4 days off. This will involve weekend working - Pay Rate £10.97 per hour2 shift rotation - Hours of work will be a rotating pattern of 6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm, Monday to Friday - Pay rate £9.14 Per Hour + £9.36 per shift workedExperience:
  • Experience in a production, warehouse or factory environment is desirable but not essential
  • This role does require manually lifting the materials so applicants must be physically fit
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse
  • Working to targets
