Job Description

My client are a manufacturer of Plumbing fixtures and fittings, looking for an experienced, North East based Specification Sales Manager to join their business.The Role

  • Development of a pipeline through targeting M&E Consultants, Main Contractors and M&E Sub Contractors, Including NHS & University Frameworks.
  • The overall delivery of product groups into Large Regional Developers & Housebuilders
  • To develop relationships and tender documents for the securing of National House Builders Specification
  • Developing and sustaining long term business relationships. Acting as a brand ambassador to be able to "sell" the brand and build relationships with the key target customers
  • To be involved in social housing customer acquisition strategy
  • To keep the opportunities pipeline on the Sales Force system up to date and as current as possible.
  • Target the countrys largest Consultant and Architectural practices
  • Be responsible for maximising our specification opportunities, Identifying and selecting relevant projects to follow up, using Barbour ABI, trade publications and relevant leads and events.
  • Work alongside the Sales Managers to enhance our relationships within the Key merchant distributors associated to Building Services, increasing our identity and enhancing the sales opportunity via collaboration.
  • Hosting customers at events and delivering accredited training, delivering companies CPD seminars.
  • Sector Exhibition networking and lead generation.
