Job Description

Senior Design EngineerGateshead£50,000 - £75,000 DOECoulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for an Enthusiastic Senior Design engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Gateshead working as part of their highways design Team.This is an exciting opportunity to work for a Civils Engineering design specialist as part of a team to lead various implementations of highway Projects. The expectation is that you are a curious individual and can contribute to the technical excellenceof the company and build your own workload and client base.Principle Responsibilities for the Senior Design engineer: -

  • Assist and manage teams with existing workload and develop your own client base.
  • Check and authorise design information and reports providing effective feedback.
  • Work with a team of the senior management and assist with projects from different offices.
  • Provide continuous improvement within the team and encourage innovation.
  • Comply with health and safety legislations within CDM regulations and adopt a proactive rick management approach.
Person specification: -
  • Auto CAD experience (Civils 3D).
  • Knowledge of highway technical documents within DMRB.
  • Strong technical skills and experience within design environments.
  • Experience working on sections 278 and section 38 highway design projects.
  • To be able to work with or advise clients on technical issues on highway structs at a senior level.
