We have an exciting opportunity for an Employment Advisor to join our Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP). STEP supports refugees to develop the skills and identify the opportunities they need to secure sustainable employment.The Employment Advisor will be seconded to work at Gateshead Council for the fixed term contract to deliver the STEP service as part of the North East Refugee Integration Support and Employment (NE RISE) project. The primary purpose of this role is to providean exemplary level of support to STEP clients in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. This role will have a hybrid home/office working arrangement.You will be responsible for working directly with Refugee clients. You will prepare Refugees for competitive employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will work to a variety of performance targets based on theprogression outcomes of clients such as successful completion of training courses, voluntary and work placements and achieving and sustaining paid employment.World Jewish Relief promotes equality, diversity and inclusion in our workplace.
