Job Description

The Company;Our client is a true North East success story within the regional manufacturing sector. The company operates from a well-resourced production facility located in the heart lands of Tyne and Wear, with significant investment in new state of the art technology and product innovation with a skilled workforceaiming to provide their customers with the best service available on the market. The company is now entering a new and exciting phase of development.They are now looking to recruit an experienced Metal Fabricator to work closely with their production teams, and to provide a hands-on technical service to the facility.You will be joining a great North East business with a strong history, a fantastic leadership team who have a clear forward-thinking vision, and the role offers a secure positive future.The job you will be doing;

  • Working within their specialist department, you will be manufacture and repair a range of specialist products.
  • Ensure all technical elements are completed to a very high standard.
  • Provide updates to the production manager on a real time basis.
  • Work with great care and a high attention to detail and quality.
  • Following engineering drawings and diagrams, and capable of improvising when problems arise
  • Proven Welding experience to a high standard
  • General fabrication duties, which includes grinding, dressing, cutting and guillotine work
  • Carrying out visual checks of products
  • MIG welding of products
  • Carrying out quality checks of products, re-working products when required
About you;
  • Must have experience with MIG and Fabrication.
  • Confident with use of hand tools
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must have excellent timekeeping and attendance records
Working hours/Shifts.
  • You will be working a 40-48-hour week - on a day shift basis.
