Job Description

Job Title: E-Learning Developer Location: Gateshead - Fully Flexible Working Salary: Up to £35000 dep expOur client is an exciting tech start-up who operate in the booming online education sector. They have already won awards with their digital learning platform and they have very exciting plans for growth over the coming years. They are already working withclients like Sage, Northumbria Police and Your Move. They offer fully flexible and fully remote working or they have an office based in Gateshead where they can offer a hybrid working model.Theyre looking to bolster their growing team with the addition of an E-Learning Developer who will be responsible for building innovative, visual E-learning courses using storyboards developed internally or taking existing courses or content and designingand building out finished learning units to put on their learning platform. The E-Learning Developer will be responsible for developing, and quality assuring engaging E-learning courses that customers will love. The ideal candidate is a creative, collaborativeperson who is a quick learner with experience using courseware development tools. They would also possess great written and verbal communication skills with design experience.Role and responsibilities: Refer to and build upon existing scripts and storyboards from internal teams to build out short learning units Work alongside Content and Design teams on learning units in a creative and collective manner Develop and build learning units using Articulate Storyline Use a mix of set templates and create new bespoke templates to build units with a variety of different interactions Follow brand guidelines and use brand elements Oversee the quality of the learning unit, and sequences of learning units, in terms of structure, flow and learning experience Ability to work with the Digital Production Director to help capture regular feedback on learner experience to drive continuous improvement of the learning unitsSkills required: 2+ years experience developing interactive E-learning courses Expertise with courseware development tools - Articulate Storyline is essential, but you may also have experience with JavaScript, SCORM / Tin Can AP and LMS Expertise with Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop. After Effects knowledge is a bonus Visual Design experience and creative sensibilities Excellent communication skills Collaborative skills to work closely with others Confident and articulate communicator with people at all levels of business Ability to act autonomously when required Ability to solve problems and work on own initiative Strong organisational and prioritising ability If this role sounds like something you would be interested in simply click "apply" and one of our consultants will contact, you to get things rolling.
