Controls Engineer

The CompanyOur client is a leading manufacturer due to restructuring they are now looking to recruit a Controls Engineer.The Role

You will be first point of contact to support the for-control issues.
Attend the morning meetings for day-to-day actions or investigations that may be required from the controls team.
Plan and implement controls and electrical projects to deadlines.
Arrange any specialist equipment required for completion of tasks.
Communicate scheduled completed work.
Communicate and control engineering budgets with engineering manager.
Will include writing PLC code, creating electrical drawings, panel Wiring, HMI design, Cable containment.

The Person

Must have previous manufacturing or engineering sector experience in a similar role.
HND/degree qualification or equivalent.
Experience in a controls position.
Experience of machine safety upgrades.
Experience with HMI design.
Knowledge and experience of electrical control systems.
Solid knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical disciplines
Technical proficiency in software applications, knowledge of Ethernet IP networks, and knowledge of devicenet and modbus networks.
Experience with Scada and scripting language.
