Location: Gateshead - BenshamWe have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Administrator/Receptionist to join a reputable Training Provider based in Gateshead that received and OFSTED rating of Good in their last inspection.The position of the Administrator/Receptionist will involve working very closely with learners and colleagues that visit the centre to help support the smooth running of the training centre on a day to day basis.We are looking for someone that is confident with an outgoing personality and strong communication skills as you will be coming in to contact with a variety of learners and colleagues on a daily basis. The package available for the position of Administrator/Receptionist: Basic salary of £19000 - £21000. 23 days holiday plus public holidays and your birthday off if it falls on a working day. Career progression opportunities.The role of the Administrator/Receptionist: Make outgoing and answer incoming telephone calls in a timely and professional manner & to transfer calls. To welcome visitors in a professional manner and deal with all deliveries and delivery notes To process and distribute all incoming mail plus process and record all outgoing mail. Maintain the franking machine service, monies and stationery stock levels, ensure secure storage and process stationery order invoices. To carry out filing, monitor the company photocopier usage and take accurate readings providing information to finance plus order photocopier supplies and report any maintenance problems. To access PICS system for learner enquiries and updates and book potential learners onto relevant course inductions. To print company enrolment paperwork ensuring stock availability and prepare and monitor com-pleted learner portfolios ready for collection. To update the company backup server daily To ensure a log of all staff and visitors signing in and out of building at reception ( and maintain provision for this process) To maintain an up to date staff telephone log and produce and maintain staff contact details. To carry out general administrative duties within departments and book accommodation and trav-el where necessary. General data entry and any other duties to meet the needs of the business.Skills and Experience required for the Administrator/Receptionist: Maths and English Functional Skills Level 1 or equivalent. Strong IT skills and experience of office based applications. Experience of working within an administrative or receptionist role. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and confident talking to a variety of different people. Experience of working with customers and dealing with queries.The position of Administrator/Receptionist is subject to an enhanced DBS check.This position is being managed by Pertemps Work-Based Learning.
