Job Description

Account Manager / B2B Energy Advisor who can manage their own pipeline and workload, prospect for new business, generating and qualifying leads and willing to develop your knowledge within the energy industry is required for a leading energyconsultancy.NO ENERGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDEDYou will receive a thorough onboarding process, where the company will give you full industry and sales training, everything you need to onboard your first client. After this, you will be equipped to develop and manage your own client portfolio, enjoyinga great deal of independence in organising your time and work schedule.SALARY: £25,000 - £40,000 per annum (Basic Salary) / £100,000 OTE (uncapped) + Generous Benefits (see below)LOCATION: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, North East England (100% Office Based)JOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Account Manager / B2B Energy Advisor who can manage their own pipeline and workload, prospect for new business, generating and qualifying leads and willing to develop your knowledge within the energy industry.Working as the Account Manager / B2B Energy Advisor you will generate sales leads using the companys growing network, the inhouse CRM system and through calling new prospects.As the Account Manager / B2B Energy Advisor you will work alongside a Closer whilst they provide the client with the best solution and close the sale.As a successful candidate you will have a winning attitude, consistently meet targets and grow your client portfolio through proactive customer engagement and strategic, disciplined prospect management.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as the Account Manager / B2B Energy Advisor include:

  • Cold Calling potential clients and explaining the benefits of using the companys services and solutions
  • Generate and qualify leads in order to provide a handover to your Energy Procurement Closer
  • Become a key team member and learn what it takes to prepare tenders and negotiate the best procurement contracts
  • Develop relationships with a wide range of UK Businesses
  • Utilise your telephone manner and communication skills and build long lasting relationships
  • Develop knowledge within the energy industry. Learn from expert training from day one and become an industry expert
  • Work towards being able to manage contract negotiations and onboard new clients with specialist Energy Consultants and Closers
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSEssential
  • Can manage your own workload and pipeline
  • Must have previous Sales experience
  • Self-motivated and a passion for success
  • Ability to work under pressure when needed and still achieve targets
  • Excellent communication skills - professional and articulate
  • Driven character, enthusiastic and passionate
  • Computer literate
  • An ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed, professional environment
  • Team Player
Desirable
  • Experience in the Utilities / Energy industry
