15.50 - £17.50 per hourBedfordPermanent. 39 hours per week (8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday) with overtime when available, hourly paid role starting rate £15.50 - £17.50 per hour.KAP Technical are working with the world leader in the design and manufacture of conveying systems for the food industry.They are looking for an Electrical Wireman to assist the Electrical Chargehand in the electrical assembly of control boxes and machinery. This is a factory based role.involve the following tasks:

Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
Use factory tools for accurate assembly (disc cutters, pillar drills, etc.).
Install various cables (SY, CY, YY) on machinery.
Provide electrical assembly support to in-house engineers.
Ensure quality control and maintain a tidy workbench.

Qualifications

Electrical qualifications/knowledge preferred.
Previous experience in an electrical role required.

Qualities/Skills:

Attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
Experience in manufacturing control panels and assemblies.
Familiarity with reading wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
Own tools required (wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, etc.).
