Job Description

JOB- Technical Support Engineer (Mechanical)LOCATION- SurreyTERM- PermanentSALARY- £25,000 - £28,000 per annum dependent on experience My client works within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Technical Support Engineer on a permanent basis in the Surrey area.The Technical Support Engineerwill ideally have the following attributes:

  • A Level / BTEC / HND / Degree qualified in Engineering or a relevant subject
  • Proficiency with working with CAD packages and knowledge of Revit and BIM
  • 3 or more years’ of experience supporting technical products in the HVAC sector – working in a similar Technical Support / Product Support type role with transferable skills
  • Up to date knowledge of building regulations
  • Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Have good organizationaland time management skills
    • The Technical Support Engineer role will involve:
  • Providing excellent technical support to customers
  • Working alongside Sales Managers and other internal departments to deliver an overall great customer experience
  • Supporting all pre-sales specification activities – auditing application design and performance
  • Ensuring company compliance to technical requirements and standards are met for all products and solutions that are offered
  • Maintaining BIM and also Revit capabilities across the whole product range
  • Providing technical support in a timely manner
  • Developing good working relationships across all divisions
