We are looking to recruit a band d 2 housekeeper/deep cleaning staff working 5 out of 7. The role includes working some weekends and late shifts. The deep cleaning team is part of the housekeeping department; a Facilities and Estates directorate. Our deep cleaning and housekeeping team is committed to the provision of clean, safe and effective environment for all our service users. We are interested to hear from individuals who can demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude to work, able to go the ’extra mile’ for all service users and can demonstrate the qualities required of a caring professional working within the NHS. We are recruiting for friendly, caring, positive, flexible and dependable people to join our strong, hardworking, friendly housekeeping team.Our Deep Clean/housekeeping operatives work together with clinical teams to provide scheduled enhanced cleans and urgent cleaning requests. They cover ward areas and hospital departments including offices. The deep cleaning process includes wall washing, vacuuming, mopping, use of scrubbing machines, vents cleaning, curtain changing, bed frames washing, cleaning bathrooms / toilets and all other aspects of housekeeping.Although experience in deep cleaning is desirable, training will be provided to enable staff to work effectively as deep clean operatives.
