This is a chance to work for an industry leader with a holistic and person centred approach to care, and working as part of a close team there is real opportunity to grow and develop your career.Led by the Head Housekeeper, youll be responsible for carrying out all cleaning duties including communal areas, residents rooms and en-suites. Youll make sure on a daily basis that deep cleaning tasks are carried out to a high standard, complying withinfection control guidelines. Its important that you respect the privacy and individual needs of the residents. Youll also need to be comfortable doing some paperwork and re-stocking cleaning supplies as required. We provide residential, respite and end of life care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimers and other forms of dementia.Theres a very positive, friendly and fun atmosphere at Whitebourne. We have a strong focus on activities and we cater for each individuals personal interests with lots of one-to-one activities. We also encourage residents to get out and about by takingwalks every day.Residents get involved in the homes daily life, including the decisions we make about what the home and gardens look like. When we redecorated, residents worked with an interior designer and a professional decorator to choose the colours they wanted. Andwhen we did the garden, residents chose the plants they liked.Our day club has its own facilities and activities programme, but day guests are also welcome to take part in activities at the homeand residents can spend time at the day club and join in with things there too.
