Job Description

We are working alongside our client, a prestigious School based just outside Tunbridge Wells in the search for an evening cook. Working in part of a small team, we are looking for someone to cater for up to 50 boarders and staff. The evening cooks working hours are Monday to Friday, 11am-7.30pm, Term Time Only. No weekends. Youll be responsible for the following: * Cooking for up to 50* Prepping for the morning shift* Cleaning Schedules* Temp records* Closing the kitchen* Supervising front of house and kitchen staff* Ensuring company standards are metYou should have knowledge of dietary and allergen requirements. This is also a front facing role, so customer service skills and presentation is extremely important. Pay rates are £10.50 per hour, plus holiday pay, optional pension, overtime which is paid at an enhanced rate, and the opprtunity to work in similar sites via Twentysix. This role is initially a temp role, which could materialise into a permanent position after a successful probationary period. Due to the location of the site, own transport is essential, as there are no public transport links. Due to the nature of the working environment, a DBS is required to work at this site.
