This temporary role could become permanent for the right candidate. Initially the temp caretaker will work 2.30pm to 5.30pm every day for the next 5 weeks (approximately)Be responsible for the security of the buildings and grounds, including routine and non-routine opening of the premises and setting alarms.Ensure the whole site is kept fee of all litter and rubbish, including fallen leaves.Ensure necessary steps and precautions are taken to prevent delivery and other vehicles driving over paths, grass or other unauthorised areas, where possible preventing trespass and unauthorised parking.Be responsible for reporting and arranging all repairs and maintenance needs outside this job description.Progress chase and report delays to the Head Teacher on behalf of the School Governing Body to ensure that contractors on site do not cause a health and safety hazard or damage school property in any way.Report any matters of concern or non-complianœ with the contract specification to the Head Teacher on behalf of the School Governing Body.Be responsible for signing job completion/customer satisfaction notes, as required by the Council, checking that contractors vacate the site on completion and ensuring that charges made are in accordance with agreed scheduled rates.Inspect all play areas and equipment, removing any dangerous materials or objects daily and as necessary to ensure the safety of users and report where action is needed.Deal with instructions received regarding lettings, preparing for these activities and clearing up at the end of the letting.Integritas Education Recruitment Ltd is acting as an employment business for this position.If you are successful, Integritas is required to see evidence of your Right to Work in the UK; in addition to you applying for an enhanced DBS Certificate should you not already hold a suitable certificate registered on the DBS Update Service.
