Senior LV EDS Engineer Our automotive OEM Client based in Dunton, Essex in the United Kingdom are searching for a Senior LV EDS Engineer to join their innovative design and engineering team. This position is confirmed as Inside IR35 and therefore willbe subject to full PAYE tax. Details of this can be provided on request. The position is listed with open negotiation, which means we can submit candidates with their salary expectations as there is no fixed remuneration, therefore we request candidates tosubmit their desired salary with their application where possible. This is a 12-month contract with possibility of extension. The working pattern is 37 hours per working week and our Client are open to hybrid working discussions. Position Description Thisis an opportunity to be a part of the growing Low Voltage EDS (Electrical Distribution System) Team. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for leading the engineering development for the LV EDS, which offers exciting exposure to everyelectrified system on the vehicle. - Lead Implementation the Electrical Distribution System (EDS) for Global Programs based on generic and reusable architectures - Lead the development of the Electrical Distribution system as specified by the current levelof EDS SDS - Lead the interface to Full-Service Supplier (FSS) Project Leader/s (PLs) & Program Manager/s(PMs) to deliver the EDS Design for the assigned Program/s. Skills Required Lead regular internal review forums. Lead Electrical system studies and interfaceproblem resolution. Support Device Transmittal implementation into the EDS design / strategy. Manage the interface to FSS PLs in development of the Electrical Distribution System FMEA & gain approvals. Relevant degree in Engineering or have completed two thirdsof formal study towards degree course and commitment to complete studies, or equivalent experience. Experience in EDS Engineering is preferred. Experience and ability to judge and improve EDS designs and processes to prevent failure modes - Demonstrate theapplication and deployment of engineering quality tools (FMEA, 8D, 6- Sigma,APQP). Demonstrate the application and deployment of engineering processes (WERS, AIMS, FEDE, Teamcenter, etc.). Excellent communication skills and ability to work as one team acrossmultiple regions (FoE, FNA, FAPA, FSAO). Skills Preferred Excellent administrative skills and level of organization. Project management skills with a thorough attention to detail.
