Are you a Warehouse Supervisor, looking to join a friendly team with great company benefitsOsborne Appointments are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity to work as a Senior Warehouse Supervisor on a Permanentbasis,for a well-established client in Lincolnshire that offers 33 days holiday including bank holiday, staff discount and onsite parking!PermanentFull time RoleSalary £24,000-£26000Working Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours 8.30 to 5 (1 x 30 min and 2 x 15 min breaks)Role Purpose: Support the Warehouse Management Team and the business in the daily operations of two UK warehouse facilities to achieve the objectives of the business in line with set budgets. Supervise all aspects within a busy warehouse environment including Supervisors, operators, internal logistics, picking, rework and staff.Duties:• Day to day Senior Supervision of the company’s warehouse facilities and staff, processes, equipment and set targets and objectives.• Ensure the warehouse operations are running smoothly during business hours, organising cover when required.• Organise the daily warehouse operations including ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming product and routing to appropriate area or personnel, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and helping with the implementation of cycle counts and reconciliation activities.• Reporting to the Warehouse Managers with the effectiveness of the department activities.• Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by volumes and workflow.• Following company policies, advising workers, and enforcing safety regulations.• Recommending measures to improve quality of service and to increase efficiency of department, work crew and equipment performance.• To improve warehouse operations through the use of continuous improvement enterprise practices and team mentoring.• Deputising for Warehouse Manager in his absence.• Assist with merchandising and support of all company exhibitions and showrooms as and when required.• To build internal relationships with other departments within the business and work together to achieve company goals.Key skills/attributes • At least 5 years warehousing and people management experience• Forklift - counter balance and reach truck licences an advantage• Basic computer skills - Excel is essential• SAP Business One experience an advantage• Energetic, problem solver with the ability to think on their feet• Dedicated to continuous improvement.• Excellent English skills - both written and verbalIf you are interested in this position, please apply direct with your CV or call Sarah on Thank you for your interest in this vacancy, which is being advertised by Osborne Appointments, who are acting as an employment agency / business.
