Senior Process Engineer

Due to expansion, our client is looking to appoint a Senior Process Engineer to join their growing and well-established team. Working for this cutting-edge electronics organisation you will be part of the team leading the way in this ever growing and exciting market!As the Senior Process Engineer you will be: - Developing robust, high yielding and stable processes operating on structured polymer films at high volume including laser-based processes and bonding of electronic components using conductive adhesives.- Developing innovative, cost-effective equipment in partnership with vendors- Providing mentoring and training to engineering, operational and maintenance staff- Produce effective reports, publications and presentationsAs the Senior Process Engineer you will have a:- High level experience in electronic component processing and assembly (MUST)- Degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical), Physics, Materials Science- Experience in laser or photonics processing- Green belt Lean 6 sigma certification or higher- Knowledge of electronic bonding including conductive adhesives- Use of Quality Systems in development and manufacturing.- Familiarity with the use of quality-enhancing techniques such as 8D, FMEA, fishbone, 5 Whys etc.- Demonstrable innovation within an industrial environment- Strong and demonstrable problem-solving skills to support product development and manufacturing.- Ability to mentor and lead colleagues in technical developments.If you would the opportunity to work in growing organisation within a focussed industry then this Senior Processing Engineer could be a good potential opportunity for you.
