Job Description

ABOUTLaneSystems LTD is a vibrant, forward-thinking, IT company in its 27th year and that continues to grow and is now looking to recruit a Sales Consultant located in their offices near Stockton-on-Tees (North East of England).This is the ideal opportunity for someone who aspires to learn and grow, as full support and training will be provided from day one, helping them to become an expert in their field.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £22,000 - £26,000 per yearAdditional pay: Uncapped commissionBenefits: Healthcare package | Car Allowance | On-site parking | Hybrid workingSchedule: 8-hour shift | Monday to Friday | OvertimeExperience: Sales background (Essential) | IT knowledge (Essential)MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPresent, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers.Identify new business opportunities through a variety of sources, for example telesales, cold calling.Work closely with the MD on preparation of Quotes and Feasibility studies for new projects.Keeping up to date with your knowledge of technologyDealing with all aspects of a campaign including marketingBuilding and managing a portfolio of accountsAchieving sales and call targets.Work to deadlinesArranging, booking, and attending client meetingsMaintaining and expanding relationships with existing clientsCompleting administrative work as required.KEY QUALIFICATIONSAt least one year of experience in both customer facing and sales roles.Highly motivated and must enjoy a fast-paced environment; ability to switch gears quickly.Excellent communication skills - verbal and written involving high level communications with internal and external contacts.Good numerical skillsCompetent with Excel / Word / OutlookDetail oriented and highly organized with excellent follow throughAbility to prioritize workload pro-actively and expeditiously.Proven creative problem-solving history, ability to work well collaboratively and under pressure.Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgement.Passion for IT and some knowledge is essential.Positive attitude, team playerPlease note that only applicants who have the unrestricted rights to work in UK should apply.
