Health and Safety Manager (£40,000 - £45,000 per annum DOE)Our client is an established and rapidly growing business (Tier 1 Contractor to the UK’s largest Telecoms Company) operating within the Telecoms Utilities Sector, based in Wellingborough, Northants.They are seeking a SHEQ Qualified Health and Safety Manager and someone who holds a NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum (albeit, not necessarily with Telecoms experience) to work from their East Midlands Office. This is an excellent and excitingopportunity for the right person to expand the role and develop a career in line with the expansion of the Company. For the successful candidate they will also provide further support, training and mentoring.This is a full-time role, both office and site based and will involve a variety of health and safety activities which require attention to detail and the ability to communicate with others at Head Office, on site and with their clients’ Health & Safety personnel.Background checks will be conducted, and all candidates must have the right to work in the UK.With demonstrable experience as a SHEQ leader, you’ll have a good mix of health, safety, environment, sustainability and quality policy and legislative competence, ideally gained within a telecoms/utilities/construction environment, particularly in relationto audit and assurance but candidates from other industry sectors will also be considered.The role will involve responsibilities such as:
