Job Description

Salary: £highly competitive + valuable benefitsAbout the role:This is an exciting opportunity for an Drilling Supervisor to join an award winning team, delivering geotechnical ground investigation services to a wide range of clients across the UK with the UK’s number one testing, inspection and compliance company.Client focused and quality driven, we are a leading provider of geotechnical ground investigation . Now we need a Drilling Supervisor to join our experienced drilling support team and contribute to our innovative approach.You will:

  • Train and mentor drilling staff throughout their career development
  • Monitor site works to ensure uniform working methods for all drilling operations and ensure their application across the region
  • Ensure all drilling equipment and materials supplied are fit for purpose, safe, to a high standard and meet the specification required for the project
  • Assist drilling personnel by troubleshooting problems as they arise, across the region, travelling to site to address issues when required
    • About you:We’re looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to adapt to changing situations and make sound judgement under pressure.Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have:
  • Excellent working knowledge of geotechnical site investigation
  • Practical understanding of the application of health & safety on a working site
  • Extensive experience in operating cable percussion & rotary drill rigs
  • Previous mentoring experience
