Venn GroupSkilled FitterBristol6 Month + contact£21.76 - £22.73 per hourOur client, a global Aerospace company, urgently require a Skilled Fitter to join their team.The role:• Ensure parts are produced on a ‘right first time’ basis• Ensure that any calibrated equipment used is within date• Responsible for the timely clearance of work phases using the SAP system• Responsible for highlighting any non-conformance to the Process Team Leader• Adhering to the requirements of the Quality Procedures• Accountable for Health & Safety requirementsSkills/Experience:•Must have a recognised indentured apprenticeship and ideally have previousmanufacturing experience in an aircraft production environment.• Ability to work to standard operating procedures• Must be able to work in small teams with Process Team Leaders• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and techniques• Self-motivated team player with good communication skills•Have wide knowledge of hand and machine tools used in the aircraftindustry including:• Percussion riveting• Drill/Ream/Countersink in panels with Vanmar tools• Setting structures in build jigs• Deburring of structures• Fettling using approved setting tools• Treatment touch-up in localised areas on aluminium• Use of CNC pillar drills (DONAU)If you are interested, please contact Laura Surridge ()
