Job Description

Right Now Group are recruiting for our cleint who are a medium sized freight forwarder looking to expand!We are looking for a experienced Warehouse Operative to work Monday - Friday on Days. This is a varied role within our busy facility which will include, but is not limited to the following:

  • Checking in and booking in shipments on our in-house system
  • Unloading and loading freight from Company and third party vehicles
  • Operating a Fork Lift Truck to safely unload and move freight (counterbalance)
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept in a safe, tidy manner
The right candidates will ideally have:
  • A flexible and adaptable approach and the ability to make a valuable contribution to this busy team
  • To enjoy physical and varied work
  • The ability to communicate well
  • The ability to produce computer generated paperwork
  • Great customer service and team working skills
  • Airfreight/logistics industry experience an advantage
  • Forklift Truck driving experience is preferred; however full training can be provided
The right candidate will require a full driving licence, this is to ensure coverage is available in case the transport team are short in covering drivers for the luton vans, this would only be the case should the warehouse workload be reduced and the transportworkload increased.The shift for this role Monday - FridayThe hours for this role are 09:00 - 17:30In accordance with industry regulations your Right to Work in the UK will be verified at interview stage, and a full 5-year checkable history is required.
