SEN Teacher - Primary SLD School in HounslowAre you a passionate and experienced SEN teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity Empowering Learning is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at a lovely Primary SLD School in Hounslow.Position: SEN TeacherStart Date: January 2024Contract: Full-time, 5 days a weekWorking Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:45 PMRequirements:- Child and adult DBS required- QTS or overseas equivalent experience in education- Experience in ASD, PMLD, physical disabilities, non-verbal communication- SEN teaching experience- Creative approach to lesson planning and tailored activities- Proactive, fostering independence in childrens learning- Positive and supportive attitude in all situations- Team player with effective communication skillsResponsibilities:- Plan and lead engaging lessons and activities- Foster a child-first approach, understanding and meeting their unique needs- Support children to be as independent as possible in their learning- Work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with adults and children- Manage and lead a class, including three other staff members- Complete necessary reports and documentationPlease Note:- This position does not provide sponsorship.- Candidates without a Child and adult DBS or QTS need not apply.If youre enthusiastic, creative, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children with special educational needs, we want to hear from you!
