Job Description

This role is for a QC Manager where you will be responsible for ensuring all lifestyle/non-jewelry products received comply with the quality standards defined and exceed customer expectations.Client DetailsOne of the UKs biggest omnichannel retailers, bringing together an unsurpassed selection of more than 15,000 products including jewellery, home, beauty, fashion, gemstones, as well as lifestyle accessories.DescriptionThe key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Receiving and processing of lifestyle shipments coming into the Goods In department.
  • Addressing and resolving any queries within that process and ensure that products meet quality and efficiency standards and specifications as per UK Legalities.
  • Working with all vendors and ensuring all necessary documents/instructions are verified and approved before product is shipped by vendors.
  • Overseeing and reporting on the quality of all products, managing relationships with external vendors in relation to feedback on quality of products received.
  • Working with the global QC team to address quality issues and taking initiatives to improve the overall quality and reduce defect rate.
  • Processing of rejected stock and ensuring correct procedures are followed to treat damaged/defected stock.
  • Responsible to give the approval for artwork, manuals etc.
  • Ensure that the product has correct packaging - working on packaging improvement.
  • Creating and maintaining various spreadsheets to report and analyse data & smart sheet for the LSP to be updated
