Freightserve recruitment are looking to recruit Logistics Coordinators for a major Heathrow based Freight Forwarder.Job Purpose:· Maintain contact with clients and suppliers and ensure that all administrative areas are run smoothly and maintained accurately· To ensure that all documents are handled and expedited to customers, warehouse and operations within the stipulated time and advising what action needs to be performed on a file to complete the process· Control and maintain the accuracy of information to Customer and InternalKey Tasks and Responsibilities:-· Working within the CES dept, flexibility, adaptability fundamental to cross train and support where required.· Customer service driven· Book courier shipments online with DHL or TNT· Book shipments in via our in-house system from start to finish· Processing shipments from our warehouse to load with DHL or TNT for the daily truck· Ensure all consignments are handled and expedited in accordance with customer instruction· Ensure all required documents have been prepared and actioned, such as pick lists, stock checks and delivery/receipt notes· Administration of inbound and outbound orders· Liaise directly with clients, operations and the warehouse operations to maintain good working relationships and excellent Customer Service· Use of in-house systems and various web sites to create additional documents· Responsible for recording and managing document flow and the control of amendments or deviations and ensuring customer revisions are completed and recorded· WMS and TMS administration and control· Perform compliance checking and document auditing· Reporting on document and stock status· Collating and distributing documents according to customer instructions within the stipulated time frame· Ensure your department process is followed and that customer order documents are expedited as per client requirements· Ensure that customer KPIs are achieved· Continue to look for process improvements, including measurements of productivity· Complying with shipping requirements for different clients and Country regulations· Create freight invoices within set KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)· Using a combination of customer and companys systems· Inbound and outbound stock control and administration· Creating outbound Pick Lists· Work cohesively with warehouse administration/warehouse team to ensure consistent on-time receipt & despatch of products to the client· Customer service, dealing with queries and issues, communicating with the customer in a professional· Preparation and distribution of dispatch reportsMinimum Education and Experience Requirements:-· Meticulous attention to detail is required as accuracy is key to ensuring no errors occur· Ability to use own initiative to solve day to day challenges· Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload· Ability to work within a team and independently· Ability to handle pressure and ensure good time-management· Good telephone manner and customer service skills are essential· Friendly, calm and professional manner· Ability to adapt to change· Enthusiasm and self-motivatedAs an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
