About The RoleThe Compliance officer will be based within the Central Way function for OCS based in Feltham - TW14 postcodeWorking rotating shift between Monday and Sunday, working hours will be between 6.00am and 11.00pm, 40 hours per week ( shifts to be discussed )The Compliance Officer will lead, manage and continually develop the production, engineering and logistic teams to ensure all HSSQE procedures are adhered to for continued legal and best practice compliance.Main Duties:To carry out daily product quality inspections to ensure that customer expectations are metTo ensure Personal Protective Equipment policies and procedures are adhered to by all on siteTo carry out on the job training relating to Health, Safety, Security, Quality and, Environment as and when necessaryTo continually coach all relevant employees in Health, Safety, Security, Quality and Environment in best practice standardsTo take part in the site risk assessment programmeTo carry out daily site inspections to monitor compliance with all legal and best practice standard relating to the roleTo carry out Active Monitoring site inspection and record and report any findings as necessaryTo coordinate housekeeping of all areas and continuously monitor compliance to best practiceTo undertake administration tasks relating to Health, Safety, Security, Quality, EnvironmenTo act as deputy radiation supervisor for the siteTo ensure that Health, Safety, Security, Quality and Environment documentation is accurately produced, and records are maintained.To motivate the team so that Health, Safety, Security, Quality and Environment targets are exceeded, and they are involved in continuous improvement process.To be successful in the role, you will need:* Must have a good standard of education and be able to demonstrate high levels of written, verbal, logical and numerical reasoning* NVQ/IOSH level 3 or equivalent in Health & Safety would be desirable* Working knowledge of health and safety in a production environment* Working knowledge of laundry, production, warehousing, and logistics would be desirable* Proven record of achieving results and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced working environment* To be a natural motivator of people who instils drive and commitment within teams* Work very effectively in a fast-moving pressurised environment
