Job Description

Right Now Group are recruiting for an Air Export Clerk to join a top global freight forwarder based in Feltham. You will be working within a busy office environment, handling air shipments Internationally.Location: FelthamSalary: Upto £ 35,000 depending on experience.Shift Pattern: Monday to FridayHours: 09:00-17:30As an Air Export Clerk your responsibilities will be:

  • Communicate effectively with shippers, overseas agents and airlines via phone and email.
  • Effectively monitor shipments and consolidations.
  • Arrange Collection and Booking of freight, Cut AWBs and complete Customs Declarations
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy when providing quotes and raising invoices.
  • Manage Export custom clearances for a variety of global locations.
  • Review and process bills of landing, invoice, and other documentation.
  • Performing data entry of shipping and cargo details into systems following required procedures.
  • Submit import and export customs entry using Cargowise.
  • Arrange deliveries and coordinate with internal colleagues to ensure the most efficient transport
Desired Skills
  • 1-2 years minimum experience in freight forwarding.
  • Experience with the handling of either import or export freight forwarding.
  • Dangerous good trained, preferred, training provided.
  • Customer focused with the dedication to provide the highest service
  • The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
  • Able to multitask and have strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
