Do you have expereince in logistics but fed up of working long hours ... then this could be the role for you!Our client is looking for an experienced 3PL specialist.You will be working within a small and friendly team with great working hours 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday - there is also the oppurtunity to get overtime!Please note this is a fully office-based role.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts.Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain optimal stock levels.Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Conduct regular safety training for warehouse staff and enforce the use of personal protective equipment.Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.Quality Control: Implement quality control processes to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of products.Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, incoming and outgoing shipments, and other warehouse activities.Generate regular reports on warehouse performance and key metrics for management.Order Fulfilment: Develop and optimize processes for efficient order picking, packing, and shipping.Ensure that customer orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled, meeting service level agreements (SLAs). Implement quality checks to maintain product integrity during the fulfilment process.Logistics and Shipping: Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of orders to customers.Optimize shipping methods, negotiate rates, and track shipments to prevent delays and issues. Address any shipping-related customer inquiries or concerns.Technology and Systems: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or e-commerce platforms to track inventory, orders, and shipments.Identify opportunities for process automation and implement technological solutions to improve efficiency.Troubleshoot and address any technical issues related to warehouse systems.Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve order-related issues, returns, and customer inquiries promptly. Strive to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring accurate and timely order deliveries.Experience required:Previous experience within a similar roleInventory managementExperience dealing with shipping carriersExcellent attention to detailCompetent PC skillsExpereince of working within a fast-paced role, working to set deadlines
