Job Title: Production Line LeaderReports to: Production Supervisor / Production ManagerShift : Days onlyJob Overview:This position will be responsible for the daily management, output efficiency, safety and quality of a packing line. Assisting the Production Supervisor & Production Manager, you will deliver results in line with business needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:·To give clear instructions to assembly line workers so that each member of the production line is aware of what they need to do and what they are responsible for to maximize quality and productivity.·Line leaders assign tasks based on what orders have come in and which members of the team are working on each day. They set up the production line to complete these orders efficiently.·Line leader’s complete paperwork and any associated administrative tasks related to the production line, from updating records to show what has been completed to noting any issues.·If there are any issues with production or fulfilling orders on time, line leaders quickly identify these problems and find ways to resolve them so that deadlines are still met without compromising quality.·Line leaders ensure that all members of the team follow company policies and that healthy and safety regulations are being enforced to meet safety compliance.·To ensure that products are packed in line with traceability and food safety requirements.·Ensure quality of product packed meets customer specification.·Any other tasks that are allocated within the business.Requirements:·GCSE A to C in Maths and English Language.·Good communication and problem-solving skills.·Must be able to work as part of a team.·Ability to understand instruction and an attention to detail.·Previous experience of working on or leading manual packing lines is preferable.This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of GEM Partnership Ltd, who are operating as an Employment Business Required skills
