Job Title: Health and Safety AdvisorLocation: FellingJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: 40,000Reed Engineering are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to join our prestigious client. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on health and safety practices within the organization and contributeto a safe and secure work environment for all employees.Key Responsibilities• Build a strong understanding of safety processes among production teams.• Guide colleagues in the development and implementation of HSES policies, procedures, plans, and practices in alignment with company and regulatory requirements.• Drive HSE activities and initiatives at the site.• Provide support and mentorship to line leaders.• Proactively manage risks and hazards.• Facilitate the transition from compliance to commitment-based safety.• Deliver continuous improvement against standards and targets to achieve year-on-year growth.Job Requirements•NEBOSH Diploma / International Diploma.• Environmental qualification with experience in environmental management and reporting.• COMAH experience (preferably Upper Tier).• Working knowledge of process safety management.• Experience with management systems such as ISO 14001 & 45001.• Strong background in driving continuous improvement in processes, policies, and standards.• Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.• Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.Position in the OrganizationThe Health and Safety Advisor will play a vital role within the organization, working closely with production teams, line leaders, and management to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.
