Job Description

The CompanyMTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious food production company based in Felling.The RoleWorking as a hygiene operative in a fast-paced environment your key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily meetings with the Team Leader or Supervisor to discuss workload.
  • To help prioritise workloads within the Department / designated Production Line.
  • Cleaning of equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Ensuring washing and sanitation of utensils and production tools, wellington boots and shoes: removal of dirty items, wash and sanitise dirty items, replacing racks with clean items.
  • Replenishment of disposable PPEs, soap, hand sanitiser, wipes.
  • Cleaning of changing rooms.
  • Following the cleaning schedule which includes cleaning of high care by sweeping the floors, gantry and steps.
  • Emptying food trays waste.
  • Use of chemicals (detergent/sanitiser).
  • Working as part of a team and being adaptable to change, flexible and willing to cover overtime if required.
  • Following strict SOPs.
  • To carry out a variety of different duties if required, as set by the Team Leader.
  • To maintain the companys health & safety standards at all times, including general housekeeping duties such as keeping your workstation tidy.
The Candidate
  • Experience working in a food production environment
  • Food safety or food hygiene certificate would be an advantage
  • A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job
  • Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary
The Hours
  • Monday - 14:00pm to 20:00pm
  • Wednesday to Friday - 06:30am to 13:30pm
  • Saturday - 06:00am to 18:00pm
