Summary The voice of our landscapes, conservation champions and lovers of all things outdoors, youll help to keep the British countryside and coast wonderful. Working in some of the nations most stunning places and spaces, come rain or shine, your love of theoutdoors will inspire others as you strive to ensure that landscapes are beautifully presented and continue to take our visitors breath away.Youll work some weekends, bank holiday and evenings and will be on-call.Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving license will be required. What its like to work here Reporting to our Area Ranger, youll be working with a team of 8 people. Youll be working across Felbrigg, Sheringham and West Runton properties with a wide range of habitats, species and part of the Riverlands project area. We look to develop team membersto their full potential, by offering formal training where appropriate.Popular Felbrigg Hall is one of the most elegant country houses in East Anglia. The rolling landscaped park with its lake, woods and waymarked trails is great for family days out and even boasts buggy-friendly walking routes. The fine walled garden growsflowers for the house, as well as vegetables for the local community. We want you to engage with visitors, making time to talk tothem, not rushing away to the next task. As an easily identifiable member of the Ranger team, on your best day you will be creating lasting memories for everyone.Youll make sure that, at every twist and turn of these fantastic landscapes, were delivering outstanding outdoors experiences and excellent conservation work. Youll share our common goal with customers and build relationships in the local community, proudlyrepresenting the National Trust. So whether youre maintaining our green spaces to assisting with guided visitor walks, through to delivering a wide range of engaging visitor experiences, no two days will be the same.Youll also share and promote the work that we do here, ensuring special places like these are here to be both protected and enjoyed by everyone for ever. This will see you responding to queries and explaining the value of the work being undertaken.
