Job Description

We are a commercial fencing company based in Longfield, Kent. We have been trading for 10 years now and continue to see growth year on year. We supply and install all types of temporary and permenant fencing to the construction industry and this year we will turnover about £3m. We also have a subsidary company which provides automation and access control which started trading this year. We are a young, vibrant and energetic company and are building a solid reputation in our industry.This is a full time role to act as financial controller to both the main business and the subsidary. Your role will include but not limited to:- Purchase order reconcilliation- Supplier Invoice reconcilliation- Bank reconcilliation- Raising invoices to clients- CIS calculations and submissions- VAT calculations and submissions- Producing Management Accounts- PayrollIn summary you will have overall responsibility for the internal financial control and reporting.We are in the process of moving our accounts system from a bespoke product to Sage 50 but this will also be linked with Construct by Eque2. As part of your role you will be integral in the implementation of Sage and Construct and the swap over from the existing accounting system.It is therefore essential that you have extensive experience of Sage 50, and it would be ideal if you have experience of Eque2s Construct, Sage bolt on package. The right candidate will have also ideally worked for a sub contractor business in Construction. Required skills
