* project, planner, marine, mod, contract, submarine, navalTechniche Global are supporting an engineering defence contractor to appoint a Project Planner, working in a hybrid role (min 3 days on site) in Clyde. You will provide support to the Naval Marine team, to deliver Submarine projects to meet safety, time, quality, performance and cost targets. You will have experience of dealing with multiple projects at once, as well as experience in developing others. The role has an initial 6 month contract term with excellent prospects for extension and with rates and responsibilities, as outlined below.Project Planner - up to £55/hour Umbrella (Inside IR35)Role Responsibilities:* Compile and maintain the Project Management Plan (PMP) from an agreed Work Package Scope on multiple Vessel Systems and disciplines.* Assist the Fleet Programmes Project Manager in maximising the utilisation and the efficiency of all the Project Management resource including deputising for the Project Manager when required.* Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Companys cost, time and quality requirements.Required knowledge of the following:* Submarine systems and equipment* Project Planning techniques* Process Improvement techniques* Business Processes (HR, Finance Commercial)* Procurement processes* Business Applications
