Job Description

1st/2nd Line Support12 Month Fixed Term ContractSpecific Job Description Working as part of the Technology Services department you will be responsible for the day to day operations of a secure remote working solution. You will support the services that combine to ensure the smooth operation of the remote working solution.Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Experience of using Service Desk call logging software to log, monitor, update and resolve customer problems & incidents in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Experience of Windows 10 Desktop support and maintenance
  • The role will also be required to conduct the following duties:
  • Liaise with team members and escalate tickets to senior engineers where appropriate
  • Experience of Deploying/Maintaining remote infrastructure and devices
  • Maintain and updates asset registers & knowledge bases
  • Utilise, maintain and create where appropriate, documentation for all IT systems and functions
  • Undertake daily system checks to ensure IT system availability
  • Install system patches as required
  • Desired skills, qualifications and experience
  • Excellent Customer Services engagement with good communication skills
  • Experience of VMWare support and maintenance
  • Experience of VPN/networking support and maintenance
  • Ability to develop strong troubleshooting & problem solving skills
  • Motivation with a willingness to further develop knowledge and experience
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player and able to use own initiative
