Job Description

IT Service Desk AnalystLocation: Lloyds Banking Group, 50 Cote Lane, Farsley, Pudsey LS28 5EDPay Rate : £10.02phLloyds Banking Group are a leader of collaboration and put team work at the centre of their entire organisation in order to reinforce innovation and help make a real difference to the lives of their customers. To support this, Pertemps are currently looking to recruit IT Service Desk Analysts to work as part of its highly skilled team to provide technical support to its staff in a fast paced environment.ROLE:

  • 12 month temporary role
  • Working patterns Monday – Friday 07:00 – 19:00 and 1 in 5 Saturdays
  • 35 hours a week
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Providing 1st line technical support to internal colleagues across the network via telephone, online chat and internal ticketing systems
  • Remotely accessing internal colleagues computers
  • Resetting passwords
  • Analysing situations and evaluating problems to come up with the best solution for the business and customer
  • Managing the expectations of customers whilst having an empathetic understanding of their issue
  • Providing a friendly yet professional level of customer service
  • Handling complaints sensitively and understandingly
  • Working unsupervised to ensure that the businesses service levels agreements are met
  • SKILLS:
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Passion for IT – ideally with an understanding of IT Service Desk processes and the importance of its role within a business
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft/Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A team-based approach to work, and a desire to coach and advise colleagues on best practice and new developments
  • Flexibility and ability to learn new systems and pick up quickly
