Job Description

3rd Line Service Desk EngineerIT Managed ServicesRemoteTo £50,000 + Excellent BenefitsMy client is a successful IT Managed Service Provider, looking to expand their team.They are currently looking to recruit an experienced 3rd Line Service Desk Engineer looking for a long-term career opportunity.Responsible for handling 3rd line technical escalations and for driving best practice within the team, including internal systems, projects work & development of SOP’s, documentation etc in collaboration with the SMT, this is not the usual run of the millrole, offering a genuinely varied, interesting challenge.What you need:

  • A "customer first" mentality and a genuine passion for IT.
  • Solid experience in 3rd line IT support with a focus on complex technical escalations.
  • Experience of high-volume service desk environments in an MSP environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of M365 (inc AVD), AD, Windows Server, Networking (LAN, V-LAN, WAN, DHCP, Switch/Router config etc), Virtualisation (Hyper-V etc) and backup (Veeam inc CloudConnect), Firewall (SonicWall), Cloud (Azure inc. InTune, Autopilot etc) etc.
