They operate within a fast-paced and collaborative environment and are brought together by their passion to ensure young people get the best possible start in life and are supported to find their best next step.Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be providing oversight of data-related contracts, project management support for the ISMS rollout and day-to-day DPO support.Key Responsibilities:The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that Data Processing, Data Sharing Agreements and other data-related contracts are fit for purpose and binding on all parties
• Documenting compliance policies and procedures and ensure embedding within the business
• Providing day-to-day project management and support for the delivery of the companys ISO-27000 Information Security Management System
• Carrying out day-to-day DPO duties - incident management, management of rights requests
• Representing compliance team in business process assessments (PIA/DPIA/Records of Processing)
• Supporting implementation of an effective company-wide compliance framework including regulatory reporting, finance, procurement, HR, IT, and data governance
• Preparing agendas and attend internal governance groups including the Information Security Steering Group
• Escalating potential non-compliant areas of the business and advise on required action
• Preparing compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience Required:Essential Qualification:

• LLB or BA Law (Honours degree) ideally with specialism in relevant area
• GDPR (EUGDPR Practitioner or CIPP/E)

Essential Experience:

• Higher Level Law degree and experience developing data-related contracts including Data Processing and Data Sharing Agreements
• Working with businesses to define, document and support compliant business processes
• Experience of establishing and running governance frameworks e.g. GDPR, PMO
• Management of Riskidentification, assessment, and management
• Knowledge and/or experience of techniques used for automated processing e.g. AI, profiling
• Defining, rollout, support, and report of compliance frameworks such as ISO-27000

Desirable Qualification:

• ISO-27000 Implementer or ISO-27000 auditor or equivalent experience#
• Project Management e.g. Prince 2 foundation or Agile PM or equivalent experience

Desirable Experience:

• Experience of Information Security, ideally ISO-27000
• Project Management e.g. Agile or Prince2
• Technology and technology projects, ideally Software or data migration
