It is also supported by our Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional Framework for Professional Practice.C1 is a 25 bedded male and female Cardiology ward. Join us here and you will have the opportunity to develop or refresh skills in nursing acute and chronic cardiac conditions in an exciting and advancing speciality. Although we specialise in cardiology our patients can also have numerous other medical conditions so you will have the opportunity to manage patients with multiple co-morbidities.We have a close working relationship with our coronary care unit and pacing lab in order to provide a seamless service for our patients. We also work together with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care at a local level and have strong links with the North West cardiac tertiary centres. As a team we are committed to dealing with current and emerging cardiology and general issues in a proactive manner which provides a safe, professional and enriching environment for all. Many of our former staff have fulfilled their career progression goals which they first identified on C1 and are working throughout the Trust and beyond as the nurse leaders of today and tomorrow.We are looking to recruit a motivated, hardworking band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse who has excellent communication skills & a passion for their role and improving patient care. When working clinically we expect you to perform with passion and drive, provide clinically excellent care, and be supportive to patients, relatives, and the team. As a band 6 registered nurse you will be expected to promote and lead the delivery of an excellent standard of patient centred care.
